The File Tree sidebar also multiple files to be selected.

When the Perforce version control options are enabled I can right click and get a perforce menu.

If I select "Edit", I'd expect all the selected files to be opened for edit.  However only the first file in the list is opened.

Multiple file selection would be appropriate for other perforce options:
  Revert, Submit, Sync, Add, Remove

However it would not be appropriate for "Diff against repository", since that would then require multiple diff views.  The UI (at least some of them) has only one Diff pane, hence multiple views could not be displayed.

Perhaps when more than one file is selected the Diff option should be temporarily disabled.
