This looks like something very closely related.  I still get a crash when attempting \
to reopen the project.  If the project is opened when KDevelop starts, it works.  If \
I attempt to reopen the project from within KDevelop, it pauses for several seconds \
and then displays the 'can't write to Doxygen file' message.  When I click that, it \
crashes.
