Well i have the same problem. The whole system become unresponsive, when debugging with KDevelop, so i cannot do nothing else than to shut down computer. I can move a mouse, but nothing else. There is no response.

library and program version are as follows:
Qt: 3.3.4
KDE: 3.4.2
KDevelop: 3.3.5 (I have changed it from default version on Mandriva, which is 3.2.2, but the problem remains)
