When I start compiling my project and then I switch over to a different virtual \
desktop to do something else in the meantime, the "messages" view widget stops \
scrolling, no matter whether the focus was on the editor or on the "messages" view \
itself.

Once I go back to the virtual desktop where KDevelop is, I can see that the \
"messages" view widget has scrolled all the way to the top and I have to act on the \
scrollbar to check whether the compilation was successful (it's a bit annoying).
