Summary: Unable to debug with GDB debugger
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: 3.3.91
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: rmojzis cz soluziona com

Version: 3.3.91 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

As installed 3.3.91 version of KDevelop IDE, I am not able to force the GDB debugger \
to work. If there is no breakpoint assigned, everithing works well, but if there are \
ones, the debug session stops with the message box "GDB exited abnormally ... This is \
likely a bug in GDB (and so on)". I have examined the debuger's output tab and there \
is the following:

-----------------------------------------------
> <... some debug messages ...>
> (gdb) whatis indicator
> whatis indicator
> type = int
> ^done
> (gdb) -var-update *
> (gdb) Process exited
-----------------------------------------------

I have the latest version of the GDB (6.4) so I am not able to find out, what should \
cause this problem. Thanks for help.
