Summary: better STL components support in the "debugger variable
                    view"
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: 3.2.3
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: toroklev gmail com

Version: 3.2.3 (using KDE 3.4.3, Kubuntu Package 4:3.4.3-0ubuntu2 )
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-9-386

I very much like the integrated debugger, however, I use Standard Template Library (STL) extensively,
which unfortunately, I really feel slow to view in the debugger variable view.

I name it slow because it is very annoying to open the structure tree of STL components.
For example to see the content of an STL string one needs to click 4 times on the structure of the string
before he/she can see any part of the content.
In addition to this, the content appears on the very left side of the "debugger variable view",
so I also need to adjust it on the header of the panel to see more.

I just wonder if you see any faster solution to this or we have to live with this.

Thanks,

Levente Torok
