OK I can see some extra information would be helpful, the version of KDevelop I'm \
using is 3.2.2. It seems that the shutdown time is related to both the time the \
program has been open and the number of files. I use KDevelop sometimes weeks at a \
time without restarting it.
Here are some experiments I have done.
files = 150, uptime = 3 weeks**, shutdown time = ~3mins
files = 150, uptime = 4 days (since bug first reported), shutdown time = ~1min
files = 150, uptime = 1 minute, shutdown time = 35 seconds
files = 50, uptime = 1 minute, shitdown time = 8 seconds
**: When I originally reported the problem, the application was open for at least \
three weeks because I've been working on a piece of software for about that long so \
this is just a guestimate.
The files I am working with are about half .h files and half .cpp files. The classes \
are not that big so there are no unusually large files in there.
I will be moving from SuSE 10.0 to 10.1. I assume this will contain a newer version \
of KDevelop so I'll try it again then to see if the problem still exists.
