Line numbering is very useful. Being able to toggle line numbers on and off at the \
touch of ONE key is less than useful, since I can already do so via the  1) Editor \
settings: Settings -> Configure Editor... 2) Menu: View -> Show Line Numbers, 
3) 3-key shortcut: ALT+V, L (US_en translation). 

To be honest I find allocating a function key to such a marginal feature an absurdly \
wasteful design decision. In this case it was decided (not by me, btw) that the F11 \
key was better used as a way to step through code in the debugger and so the key was \
reallocated. Personally, I don't particularly like how this was solved, but I \
certainly support the intention. The KDevelop IDE certainly benefits more from sanely \
debugger shortcuts assigned by default than a fourth way to show/hide line numbers.

We're not going to fullfill this wish, let's be honest about that and close it.
