This isn't a bug, it works like this by design.

Below the treeview with the available projects is a checkbox saying "show all \
projects" (or something to that effect). If that isn't checked, the treeview shows \
only projects compatible with the loaded language support.

This is neither particularly intuitive nor popular, and will most likely be changed \
in KDevelop4. But it's not a bug.
