Fellows, this is a whopper of a bug (hopefully not a "feature") that almost had me \
leave KDevelop for Anjuta, Kate, or something else that wasn't KDevelop. When you \
have a C++ project open, clicking on Project->New Project... leads to a nice little \
wizard where only C++ projects can be created. I wanted to start a C project, so this \
was no good. When I was about to give up, I decided to close the project first and \
then see what language options were available, and indeed, there they all were. When \
I reopened the C++ project, it went back to only allowing C++ projects. Maybe this is \
fixed in newer versions, but I don't know since for years now Gentoo seems to want to \
compete with Debian stable.
