Summary: Messages Output auto-focus isn't working properly
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: 3.3.1
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: FreeBSD
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: ppl nbnet nb ca

Version: 3.3.1 (using KDE 3.5.1, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.4 [FreeBSD] 20050518
OS: FreeBSD (i386) release 6.0-RELEASE

When you click on a compilation error within the "Messages Output" window, say \
file.cpp:29, the editor will open file.cpp and display at line 29.

If you detach the "Message Output" from the dock, then click on file.cpp:29, it will \
do the same behavior as above except that it will only do so once KDevelop principal \
top-level-window gain focus.

This behavior is troublesome because I have the Messages Output on a different \
monitor and once I click on a compilation error line I have to manually go and give \
focus to the main window.

This report may be related to Bug 72076.
