Summary: File browser produces unintelligible error when previous
                    dir is removed
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: ghost cs msu su

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

Suppose that in a "File selector" sidebar I've navigated to build dir of my project \
to open some file. Then, I've closed KDevelop, and deleted the build dir. On startup, \
file selector will try to change to the last directory, which is removed. The error \
message produced in this case is this:

    "Error - KDevelop"
"The specified folder does not exist or was not readable"

It's impossible to understand what this error messages say -- I did not specified any \
folder at all, and it does not say what component caused it and that it's folder \
saved in config file, nothing.

The error message is emitted in KDirOperator, so the only way to solve the problem is \
to check for folder existence in KDevelop, before calling KDirOperator::setURL.
