Summary: No relative paths to subprojects with automake manager
Product: kdevelop
Version: 3.2.2
Platform: SuSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
ReportedBy: e0125719 student tuwien ac at
Version: 3.2.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMsSuSE RPMs
OS: Linux
It would be fine to have the possibility to add existing subprojects with relative paths because
the workaround with os symbolic links doesn't work.
It seems there is something bad with symbolic links automake and libtool.
When it tries to go a step backwards from a subproject (which is a symbolic link)
it doesn't find the ../libtool script
If I copy the subproject, everything works perfect,
but this is poor because of duplicated sources.
automake 1.9.6-2
Thanks and greetings!
You all do a realy perfect job!
