Summary: Cannot successfully debug from a directory other than
                    the default
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: mswilliamson uwaterloo ca

Version: 3.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: GCC 3.4.4
OS: Linux

I have my project setup so that there is a recursive makefile, in which the targets \
are built in subdirectories (e.g. test, build, etc). KDevelop is unable to run the \
debugger because it doesn't set breakpoints correctly. Here is an example:

gdb /home/michael/projects/nachos/code/build.linux/nachos -fullname -quiet
...
(gdb) cd /home/michael/projects/nachos/code/build.linux
(gdb) break /home/michael/projects/nachos/code/threads/main.cc:369
No line 369 in file "../threads/main.cc".

I'm not sure exactly why this doesn't work, it seems logical to me. In the source \
line 369 is valid.
