Summary: configure error for make w/o Berkeley DB >= 3 and <= 4.1
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: 3.2.91
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: microdigi web de

Version: 3.2.91 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler:          g++ 3.3.5
OS: Linux

in 40 years of information technique I am used on much trouble.

I pulled the kdevelop version 3.2.90 off the kde-source,
compiled, it, installed it, worked ok -
with one exception (as in verious versions before):
I could not see strings in the watch window.
But I HAVE seen them - for some reason they do not show up anymore.

I pulled the version 3.2.91 off the kde-source,
which was supposed to adress exactly that matter -
and i can not even configure :=(
The version 90 found the BerkelyDB, this one (91) does not.

One of these days I am really going to be p.o.

This project is not for fun, there is a LOT pending on it.

So, please give me another advice what to do.
Yes I also tried --disable-neon.

The version 3.2.90 did it, but this 91 does not w/o Berkeley.
I do not have Berkele, I do have SuSE 9.3
neither works.
./configure

nor

./configure --enable-debug=full --prefix=$KDEDIR \
--with-kdelibsdoxy-dir=$KDEDIR/share/doc/HTML/en/kdelibs-apidocs --disable-ada \
--disable-bash --disable-fortran --disable-haskell --disable-java --disable-pascal \
--disable-perl --disable-php --disable-python --disable-ruby --disable-sql \
--disable-antproject --disable-genericproject --disable-scriptproject \
--disable-clearcase --disable-perforce --disable-subversion --disable-cvs (also \
                --disable-neon does not work)
