Summary: project creation wizard handles spaces in CVS vendor tag
                    incorrectly
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: 3.2.1
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: gingekerr yahoo co uk

Version: 3.2.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

In the 'version control' section of the project creation wizard, I specified a vendor \
tag which contained a space. This caused an unexplained cvs error on creating the \
project. After much research and checking of my cvs configuration, I finally had the \
idea of using a vendor tag without a space. This solved the problem.

I am a beginner with CVS, so I do not know whether vendor tags with spaces are \
allowed by the cvs protocol. If they are, then there is obviously some mistake with \
the quoting. If they are not, then the user should not be allowed to enter vendor \
tags with spaces - an error message explaining the problem should be displayed.
