When the debugger starts it opens the variables window automatically and docks it, if required. Great!
Now, in my case, the variable frame I put to the right tabs. The gdb console is opened always as the last tab in the bottom. To see something, variables window must be wide enough, thus covering the gdb console with itself.
To uncover it, I must each time move slitely the vertical border, this causes the bottom tabs to resize themselves and gdb tab appears.
