Summary: configure.in is deprecated in favor of configure.ac
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: autoproject
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: hattons globalsymmetry com

Version: 3.2.90 (using KDE 3.4.2 Level "b" , SUSE 9.3 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.4-21.8-default

This is from autoconf.info, Node: Writing configure.ac

" Previous versions of Autoconf promoted the name `configure.in', which is somewhat \
ambiguous (the tool needed to process this file is not described by its extension), \
and introduces a slight confusion with `config.h.in' and so on (for which `.in' means \
"to be processed by `configure'"). Using `configure.ac' is now preferred."

I know it's a minor issue, but it's a good thing to try and conform to \
recommendations when possible. I've noticed KDevelop generates a configure.in rather \
than a configure.ac.
