Summary: New class dialog: filename option doesn't work
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: 3.2.1
          Platform: Unlisted Binaries
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: greatbunzinni gmail com

Version: 3.2.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux

When creating a new class through the new class dialog, the user has to input the \
class name in the "Class information" tab. According to this text entry, the class \
dialog defines the file names for that particular class. There is also a "Generating \
options" tab. In it, the user can specify how the file names are created from the \
class name.

The problem is that, even though the user can switch the prefered naming method (all \
caps, no caps, like the class name), that change will only have effect if the user \
first selects the naming method and then re-enter the class name. To make matters \
worse, if the user changes the naming method and then closes the dialog, in the next \
time the user creates a new class through this method, the filename naming method \
which will be in effect will be the default one and not the option he selected.

So, if the user's file naming preferences aren't the same as the default preferences, \
the user will have to enter the text, change the naming style and reenter the text, \
which is a bit time consuming.
