First of all, I think this bug is a duplicate.

Even if KDevelop supports spaces in paths, I do not think that GNU/autotools \
(autoheader, autoconf, automake,libtoos, gcc, make) will support it. It will probably \
break one of these tools in an obscure place.

Feel free to submit a path to solve the problem if you feel it is a KDevelop issue.
