Summary: Qt4 QStrings are not displayed in variables.
Product: kdevelop
Version: unspecified
Platform: Debian testing
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: debugger
AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
ReportedBy: alan.ezust gmail com
Version: 1.97 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: 3.3.6
OS: Linux
In order to properly display a Qt4 QString, you need to first
do toAscii().data()... It's tiresome to have to add watches for each QString you want \
to inspect.
I saw some gdb macros
http://websvn.kde.org/~checkout~/trunk/KDE/kdesdk/scripts/kde-devel-gdb
which worked great for Qt3 QStrings. Could someone update these macros for Qt4, or \
else fix kdbg so it displays Qt4 QStrings properly?
Thanks very much!!
