Summary: Kdevelop hangs when opening a project containing recurse
                    directory loop
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Mandrake RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: fr.r ifrance com

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
OS: Linux

If a project directory tree contains a symlink to a parent directory of the project \
base directory (eg: making a recurse directory loop), then Kdevelop enters an \
infinite loop at project opening during the "Loading: group files" stage.

If not interrupted, the whole Operating System may become unresponsive, needing \
manual power-off.

Example that produces the bug:

Project base directory: /usr/myproject/kdevelop
Project file: /usr/myproject/kdevelop/Myproject.kdevelop
Symlink to parent dir:  /usr/myproject/kdevelop/src -> /usr/myproject

Versions info: KDE 3.3.2 (from Mandrake 10.2), Kdevelop 3.2

Regards,
FR
