At the moment I can't remember the name of it, but there is an intellisense addon for \
vc++ that automagially replaces a '.' with a '->' when you are accessing a member \
variable when applicable. This is quite handy and worked very well. You didn't have \
to worry about whether you're accessing a member through a pointer to the object or a \
reference and could just type the dot.
