Use the CTags-Part :-)

*) You need to have "ctags" installed.
*) Check "project-options -> components" if CTags support is active for your project. If not, enable it.
*) Open the CTags view from the bottom-dock and click "Regenerate"
The current date will appear next to the button after a time.
*) Right-click a function or variable name and select either of the CTags-options from the popup menu.

BTW: you can also assign shortcuts. Check Settings->Shortcuts->CTags-Frontend for this.
