Probably your KDevelop 2.1.5 is using an old gcc that does not complain on that error.

There is no KDevelop 3.4. You're probabbly refering to KDevelop 3.2.

Your KDevelop 3.2 is probably using a more recent gcc version that complains about the error.

In both cases it's a gcc issue. KDevelop is not a compiler. its a frontend.
