Try installing KDevelop-3.2 instead. It _should_ build against your Qt-3.3/KDE-3.3 \
installation. (Though KDE-3.4 is recommended.)
If for some reasons you chose to stay with the old 3.1.x version, make sure the \
"scripting" plugin isn't built/installed. This was an experimental old plugin, that \
IIRC was enabled in the gentoo ebuild. (This is the only reason I can think of that \
would trigger PyDCOP when you start KDevelop.)
