when you added your library, you need to give the file you add an extension.
For example, for a library target, you can't just enter "libmyfoo" you have to enter \
"libmyfoo.la" (if you're using libtool) or "libmyfoo.so" or similar. If you didn't \
add an extension, it's not a bug IMHO
