Guys - sorry for leaving it bloody ages before getting back.
I am not sure what to do with regard to this bug, it is reproducible, but I also get \
it with other applications such as konqueror (file manager mode) and Quanta+.
I suspect a problem either in the kernel/drivers (seems to happen when accessing \
files on the RAID 1 SATA drives) or KDE libs.
I am quite happy to have this marked as not a big, but I don't know how to proceed \
with it further. It does render KDevelop and Quanta+ more or less useless though.
