Hmm... what Exuberant Ctags version are you using? It sounds like it's using \
"--excmd=mixed" (the default), which will only create line numbers for macros \
(KDevelop currently only supports patterns, "--excmd=pattern"). 

Did you use a custom commandline for the ctags database creation? 
Could you please check the tags file to see how the macro definitions are \
represented?
