Apologies,

It is a KDE project written in C++
I am making an additional toolBar for my application
This toolBar uses custom icons in it.

The issue occurs when I expand the 'Automake Manager' to add the icons via the \
contextual menu on 'icon data' - add icon.  I type in my action name to the dialog \
box and sure enough a file is written to disk and shown in the tree.  However, after \
saving and exiting KDevelop, reopening and loading the project the icon no long \
appears in the tree under 'icon data'.  I have tested this in KDevelop 3.1.0 and it \
still happens.

I hope this is of help.

The second part related to editing the file listed in the tree, but it's not as \
important as the first one - one may affect the other I suspect.  It relates to the \
'Open With ' contextual menu not working as expected when opening a file.  This \
appears fixed in KDevelop 3.1.0

I've tried with KDE_ICON to both AUTO and the project name it doesn't seem to affect \
the problem (the icons do appear in my application as I would expect).
