i reported this once before but it got moved to kate-part and incorrectly recognised as another bug.

to reproduce:
open kdevelop with a clean configuration.
new file -> x.cpp
tools->indentation->normal
change file, file->save
tools->indentation will be c-style :-(

it would be a shame to let such an annoying bug through to 3.4.0.

note kate/kwrite do *not* exhibit this behaviour, so it appears to be localised to kdevelop.
