Up til now you hadn't provided any information that could let us guess what the \
problem was, which I told you. What is so unfriendly about that?

However, "on three different machines running Fedora Core 3 and two machines using \
SuSE 9.2" strongly suggests you're running into this bug: \

In short: your Qt library (probably) contains a patch that makes katepart crash. \
Nothing we can do anything about, but please complain to the distributions.


Again, we can't verify this is your problem, because there is no useful backtrace. ;)
