Summary: Editor droppings inserted in source code files
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: RedHat RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: ed pcsb620 tju edu

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux

Multiple times I have found, via compiler error messages, that the IDE has inserted a \
snippet of text from a source code file in that file or another one in multiple \
places. These can start in the middle of a line of code or be placed between lines \
of code. Sometimes the inserted text is code I copied to the clipboard, but other \
times not. Once it was simply a line to which I added double slashes. The editor \
"text droppings" are not necessarily placed in a file I have been editing, although \
the corrupted file was open in the IDE. This is often easy to find due to the \
context, but if such a corruption is more subtle, or involves a replacement, I am \
sure it will take a long time to find.
