I'm not sure why deleting that file works, but it did. I can use the KATE editor from \
within KDevelop again.

As for re-assigning this bug to KATE, I'm not convinced. KATE opened the files just \
fine as long as it wasn't used from within KDevelop. It may still be a KATE problem \
but it doesn't look quite as cut and dry as that.
