Summary: kdevelop crashes at startup because of undefined symbol
                    in libkdevdoctreeview.so
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: andreas pietzowski de

Version: 3.1.0 and HEAD (both) (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc-3
OS: Linux

I just installed KDE 3.3 and then my old KDevelop 3.0.4 from SuSE dodn't work anymore \
(it crashes on saving a file). So I downlaoded the sources from the cutting edge \
KDevelop 3.1.0 and compiled it.

The first strange thing was a compile error in the file \
"vcs/cvsservice/cvspartimpl.cpp" in line 365. GCC resolves KDE_IS_VERSION(3,2,90) as \
true although the else-case should be taken because of the correct parameters for \
checkout()-method. I modified the source to get it compiled well.

Compiling works fine but on startup I receive only this message and KDevelop dies \
with this:

kdevelop: [void FileListWidget::refreshFileList()]
kdevelop: error while loading shared libraries: \
/opt/kde3/lib/kde3/libkdevdoctreeview.so: undefined symbol: \
_ZN17ConfigWidgetProxy22createGlobalConfigPageERK7QStringj

I also treid it with HEAD (kdevelop-040824) but the same bug in this version.

Any ideas?
Pietz
