Summary: CVS Sync with Repository and stauts file problem.
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: 3.0.1
          Platform: Mandrake RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: cvs part
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: j_blasi wanadoo es

Version: 3.0.1 (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: gcc 3.3.2
OS: Linux

Execute File Tree View (select a directory) -> Sync with Repository

This way you get a nice coloured CVS file status view but unfortunately this feature \
does not work well. Sometimes status info and Work/Repo revisions are wrong or \
reports info on files that not exist in CVS.

If you execute File Tree View (same previously selected directory) -> CVS -> Update \
you get the following CVS message:

"None of the file(s) you selected seems to be valid for repository"
which is correct. Then, how "Sync with Repository" reports info on files that do not \
exist in CVS?

I suspect that "Sync with Repository" gets messed up when a file name exists (clash) \
more than once through the project. Displays info for a file corresponding to another \
file (with same name) from another directory. This is notorious for Makefile files \
that exist in many directories through the project.
