Summary: Java KDE application configuration problem
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: 3.0.3
          Platform: RedHat RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: cubranic cs ubc ca

Version: 3.0.3 (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
OS: Linux

I created a new Java project of type "Application framework". The three classes are \
there, but there seems to be a problem with the configure files that are created. If \
I try to run 'make', I get the following error in 'src' subdirectory:

make[2]: Entering directory `/home/cubranic/kdejavatest/src'
CLASSPATH=.:/home/cubranic/kdejavatest/src/.:$CLASSPATH  JAVAC@ -d .   \
                kdejavatest.java kdejavatestView.java kdejavatestPreferences.java
/bin/sh: line 1: JAVAC : command not found
make[2]: *** [classjava.stamp] Error 127

Is " JAVAC " a parameter that should have been configured somewhere but isn't? (I do \
have JDK installed.)

Also, where would the Qt/Koala JARs be installed? Looking at the listing of files for \
the kdebindings RPM (3.2.2-1, on Fedora 2), I only see libsmoke, *jsembed, and *c. \
Did RedHat leave out all other languages?
