Yes, it happens when you start Kdevelop from the command line like so:

kdevelop myproject.kdevprj

Kdevelop seems to set the project directory to "." in this case and it appears
that Kfm does not deal with relative pathnames (that probably makes a lot of
sense in the KDE world). The solution is to start Kdevelop from the desktop
menu and then open the project file, or if you must use a command line do:

kdevelop /fullpath to the project directory.../myproject.kdevprj

The code should really spot this case though and set the project directory to
the current working directory.
