It's been a while since I've used KDevelop 2.1, but I think the compiler options
are somewhere in the project options. In KDevelop 3, go to Project --> Project
Options --> Configure Options --> C or C++, then add your compiler flags. If
you're using gcc, you can add '-g' for gdb symbols.
Btw, you really ought to consider upgrading to KDevelop 3. It rocks.
