Any chance that a conversion of the current database to postgres (into the one \
created following the earlier link) would prevent loss of settings metadata AND speed \
up the process (no initial import of all your email)?
If akonadi uses backends for the various database implementations it supports it \
probably uses the same organisation of tables and what-have-you in all of the \
supported database types?
