I think we are quite near to one another.
Actually I also think that redoing Akonadi from scratch with the lessons =
learned is a good idea. Fixing it all in place may just be more difficult =
than restarting from a clean base.
I just thought you were against some kind of Akonadi framework for =
handling stuff in the background in general, but it seems you were not.
As for feedback to developers: I am not sure whether many of them read all =
the mails here.
