Hi,

 unfortunately due to a bugfix in maildir resource a serious sideeffect 
crippled into the 4.11 RC1. This causes VERY slow KMail and LOTS OF 
duplicates in the maildir folders that are hard to get rid of. Usually the 
best way is to remove the resource and add it back again (with the extra 
risks, like configuring again the filters, identities).
 The problematic patch was reverted, so won't be in final release and an 
alternative fix was provided in the master branch for those building from 
source.
