I mentioned some loss recently in one of my threads.  It turned out
that I hadn't lost anything at all.  KMail had picked up GMail's Bin
directory, and when I tried to look at the messages there they
disappeared.  I later realised that what I was seeing was Bin being
used for draft messages later completed and sent.  In other words, it
is a staging folder.  I don't recall just how I managed to view such
messages, but I did get four open, and in all cases that's exactly
what they were.
