Should be doable, I just haven't had the time. I think Laurent or Allen wanted to \
look at back porting the changes, but I guess neither of them found the time either, \
so far. Does anyone feel like pitching in? The commits should be easy to find, search \
for changes from me in 4.8 branch and take out the ones that add the new feature, I \
guess.
