I used to suffer from this too...
But some kde dev, working for Canonical, started to work on it, and closed =
the bug that was opened on Launchpad.
Since then, i havent seen that happening it.

I'll see if i can find it, and link it to upstream, and ask him to submit t=
he patch upstream too.
