First of all, as Anne said, please don't top post ;)

After that, my solution to use Gmail and Offline imap with kmail is to 
subscribe locally to all the folders *BUT* the 'All Mail' folder. Now it 
seems to work much better.

Anyway, the best solution, as I said in another thread, is to set and own imap 
server in your machine and sync it with gmail with the app offlineimap :)
