Bram and Thomas have given attention to your bug report.

If I understood correctly then this bug occurs only with a single 
message. If that's really the case then this bug as annoying as it 
might be for you doesn't have a high priority. Our ressources are 
extremely limited and therefore we cannot spend hours investigating 
such low-priority bugs while there are other much more important issues 
that need to be dealt with. Sorry.
