You'll need to recompile kpilot with --enable-debug=yes passed to configure.

Okay, well, I'm using the same version of KDE and kpilot and pilot-link and
device (Treo 650), but I'm using OpenSUSE 10.2.... So what you have should
work.

Hmmmmmmmmmm. What kind of addressbook are you using? It wouldn't happen to
be a non-regular file, would it? By this, I mean... is it on an IMAP server
or something?
