Hello,

1. Is it possible to change the format of your Adressbook from a file-resource to a \
directory-resource? 2. Will the birthday-feature still work with a \
directory-resource. (I mean that the birthdays of my contacts are shown in my \
Calendar)?

3. Can somebody explain me the differences (benefits) between the file and the \
directory possibilities?

If I understand it correctly its something like the difference between mbox and \
maildir. Then the directory-resource would be faster, because it will only change a \
small file if I edit a contact - right? But then if Kmail uses as default maildirs \
why doesent kadressbook use directory-resource? Are there any problems?
