Hi,

sometimes when I receive an email with one of the German "Umlaute" in the
subject line, it is not correctly displayed as long as the message is not
highlighted. This pic shows the problem:

Once I click on the message in the message list pane, the subject line is
correctly displayed, but only in the message list pane. In the message preview
pane the subject line is still broken.

If I now click into the preview pane, the subject line in the message list pane
is redisplayed and is now broken again. Sigh. It doesn't help if I change the
kmail view encoding settings from auto to iso-8859-1 (this only helps display
umlaute in the email body).

Does anybody see a similar behavior of kmail?

I suspect the messages are broken in some way and kmail has problems displaying
them correctly.
